Installing Plastic Cross Trail Blazes at Dunk Rock Road

We’re getting down to the end and today we expect to finish up the cross trails, completing both the Blue/Green and White/Yellow. If you’d like to help blaze, you should bring along a small tool belt with places for nails, a hammer and a stockpile of blazes. We’ll have both the cut blaze materials as well as nails. Please dress for the conditions and meet us at the Dunk Rock Road entrance, parking in the lot near the Bishop’s raspberry field @ 10AM. [est 1-1/2 – 2 hours]

Rain or significant snow will usually cancel any of these work parties, so if you have questions about the schedule, please feel free to contact me stewardship@guilfordlandtrust.org or Paul Proulx pauljproulx@comcast.net on the morning of each event. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house. Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events, so if you’re late and want people to wait, give him a call.
