Installing Plastic Cross-trail Blazes – Westwoods Lower Moose Hill Road Entrance

We plan to blaze all the cross trails in the middle of Westwoods at this work party. If you’d like to help blaze, you should bring along a small tool belt with places for nails, a hammer and a stockpile of blazes … we’ll have both the cut blaze materials as well as nails. Please dress for the conditions and meet at the Lower Moose Hill Road entrance @ 10AM, just across from Landon’s Way. The lot can get filled on Saturday mornings, so please use street parking on Landon’s Way if it’s too crowded. [est 1-1/2 – 2 hours]

Rain or significant snow will usually cancel any of these work parties, so if you have questions about the schedule, please feel free to contact me stewardship@guilfordlandtrust.org or Paul Proulx pauljproulx@comcast.net on the morning of each event. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house. Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events, so if you’re late and want people to wait, give him a call.
