GLCT relies on volunteers who give their time and skills on a regular basis. Weekly, monthly or seasonally, we can use your help. Volunteers from GLCT do everything from database management, fundraising, graphic design, and programmatic work to brush cutting, gardening and trail maintenance.

Property Stewards

GLCT is a conservation organization and, while trails are the means by which most people access our properties, there is much more to what we protect. GLCT needs volunteers to look after entire properties or sections of larger ones. This work includes walking boundaries, updating signage, and just keeping an eye out generally.

GLCT compiles a list of hikes each spring and fall. If you are interested in leading a light walk, a fun romp, or a great expedition, let us know in the form below.

Community Service Hours and Internships

Students, we are happy to accommodate those needing community service hours or those interested in internships. Please contact us using the form below and include your areas of interest and time frame.

Scouts

From kiosks and painting to litter pick up and trail assistance, help from scouts is a great resource for GLCT. Please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your interests. Please note that for Eagle Scout project, GLCT requires that you present a written outline of your plan for approval by the GLCT Board of Directors 6-12 months prior to your required completion date.
