Westwoods Plankwalk Maintenance at Peddlers Road

At the September WWTC meeting Paul noted a broken plank on the walk, so we’ll attend to that today. And while we’re in the area, we’ll take a look at the overgrowth of an invasive plant that’s been reported, and cut that back as best we can. Paul’s pretty sure we have the required materials already at the northern end of the Great Marsh, so we’ll only need to haul from there. We’ll bring the basic tools for the work, but extra hammers and pry-bars will be useful. And to help with the invasive plant control, a pair of garden clippers and loppers will be useful too. Please meet us at the Peddlers Road trail entrance @ 10AM. [est 1-1/2 – 2 hours]

We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.
