Spring Walks – Vernal Pools – Eastwoods

Nothing is more exciting than finding frog eggs and insects in the vernal pools in spring. Let’s get a bit muddy and explore Eastwoods. This is a 45 minute loop, which will take the vernal pool explorers a bit longer. Join GLCT Board members, Andrew Page and Nicole Crain, on this fun adventure. Dress for mud and wet feet. Small nets are welcome. Meet at the turnaround on East Bear House Hill Rd., off of Podunk Rd.

Please meet 10 minutes ahead of hike start time. Leashed dogs may attend hikes, unless otherwise stated in descriptions above. Heavy rain cancels the hike, a light drizzle does not. Wear boots for spring mud.
