Loop 1 Evaluation at Sam Hill Road

Cancelled from last month, this is a survey walk planned to critically review all aspects of trail condition and location. And in addition, we plan to record other property information (like invasive plant sitings, graffiti, etc.) and unauthorized use of the property. To record this information in the field, we plan to use the Avenza Map app, which is available on both the Apple and Android handhelds or tablets paired with Loop 1 trail map. If you’d like to add your expertise to our land review, download the free version of the Avenza app from the Apple or Android store, load the map, put on some nice comfortable walking shoes and a warm jacket, and join our walk in the woods. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house. Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events, so if you’re late and want people to wait, give him a call.
