Installing Plastic Trail Blazes and Trail Maintenance at Kampmeyer

Property Steward Jeff Trombetta has asked for help in renewing the blazing on the property, so we’ll be doing as much as we can this afternoon, concentrating on the yellow trail south of the trolley strip. We’ll also plan to do any trail clearing we find, evaluate the board walk for repairs, and construct our ‘to do’ list for future work parties. if you have the afternoon free, plan to join us. See the 2nd of March for details of what you should bring for blazing. We’ll be bringing a chain saw with us, but a backup saw would be welcomed, and extra hands to share the carrying are valuable too. As always, there will be some cleanup work, so if you’re not a sawyer, bring along your loppers or tools you’re comfortable using. Dress warmly, with gloves and comfortable shoes. Please meet us at the Laural Hollow cul-de-sac entrance @ 10AM, just off West Lake Avenue. [est 2 – 3 hours]

We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.
