Making Plastic Cross-Trail Blazes

We can’t find a commercial source for special cross-trail blazes, so today we’ll be getting together to fabricate those needed in Westwoods. We’ll have all the materials we need, as well as a paper cutter and glue to generate the needed multicolored cross-trail blazes. We’ve not yet figured out the best place to do the work, so if you’re interested in joining us, please give Paul a call < 203.687.7756> a few days before the 6th and he’ll give you directions. Rain or significant snow will usually cancel any of these work parties, so if you have questions about the schedule, please feel free to contact Rob Valley stewardship@guilfordlandtrust.org or Paul Proulx pauljproulx@comcast.net on the morning of each event. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house. Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events, so if you’re late and want people to wait, give him a call.
