Trail Blazing – Westwoods Dunk Rock Road Entrance – Green Circle

We’re closing in on the end of our re-blazing efforts in Westwoods, and this work party will begin on the Green Circle trail which starts on the northwest corner of the Great Marsh. While you’re welcome to join us for just the walk, if you’d like to help blaze, a small tool belt with places for nails, a hammer and a stockpile of blazes is recommended. Plan to meet at the Dunk Rock Road entrance, parking in the lot near the Bishop’s raspberry field. [est 1-1/2 – 2 hours]

Heavy rain will usually cancel any of these work parties, so if you have questions about the schedule, please feel free to contact me stewardship@guilfordlandtrust.org or Paul Proulx pauljproulx@comcast.net on the morning of each event. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house. Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events, so if you’re late and want people to wait, give him a call.
