The plastic we put down last spring appears to have done a good job in pushing back on the mugwort.  So today we will be carefully removing these sheets (or what can be salvaged from them), and seeding the uncovered area with native grass seed.  We invite you to come and help us remove these sheets … it’s a multi-person job, especially if there’s a little wind, and many bricks and wood timbers need to be collected and hopefully carted off the field and stacked nearby.  Good gloves and work boots are all that you’ll need to bring.  Please meet us at the property on Three Mile Course, just slightly south of the Medad Stone tavern.  If there’s not enough room to pull off the road, you can park up the road at the Cox School.  [est 2 hours]
