Removal of PVC Tubing at Little West Pond

Last spring our Little West Pond property stewards discovered hundreds of feet of black pvc tubing had been dumped in the woods of our Little West Pond property. Although not an environmental hazard, dumping of anything on GLCT property is not allowed, and we plan to pull this out and transport it to the town transfer station. It’s light work, and will be even easier if we get a good turn-out. So if you’d like to assist us, bring good work gloves, and perhaps a set of tin-snips to cut the tubing into more easily managed lengths. Please meet us at the Gina Lane trail entrance, about 500 feet from the intersection of West Lake Ave. [est 1-1/2 – 2 hours]

We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.
