Loop 12 Evaluation at Westwoods Lower Moose Hill Road Entrance

Cancelled because of February snow, this is part of a survey walk planned to critically review all aspects of trail condition and location throughout Westwoods, to capture other property information (like invasive plant siting’s, graffiti, etc.) and unauthorized use of the property. To record this information in the field, we plan to use the Avenza Map app, which is available on both the Apple and Android handhelds or tablets paired with Loop 12 trail map. For the next two months, this map is available as a free download from the Avenza Store … just search on ‘Westwoods Loop 12’ and you should find it. If you’d like to add your expertise to our land review, download the free version of the Avenza app from the Apple or Android store, load the map, put on some nice comfortable walking shoes and a warm jacket, and join our walk in the woods. Plan to meet us at the lower Moose Hill Road entrance to Westwoods, just across from Landon’s Way. Use street parking on Landon’s Way if it’s too crowded. [est. 2 – 3 hours]

We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.
