Hauling Lumber From Eastwoods to Westwoods – Eastwoods: Podunk Road Entrance

When the new Bog Bridge was built by CF&P during the summer the lumber from the original bridge was saved so it could be recycled into future projects. Unfortunately, it was left at a trail deep in Eastwoods, and we need to now pull it out and move it to its new location. To do this we’ll be meeting at the Podunk Road entrance to Eastwoods and plan to take a 4×4 down along the Eversource access road to make the job a bit easier. So we’ll need people to help load the truck at the Eastwoods end, and people to help unload at a couple of places at the Westwoods end, later that morning. Gloves & work boots are all you’ll be needing beyond lots of enthusiasm. Meet us at the Podunk Road entrance to Eastwoods, directly across from Orcutt Drive. Parking is limited in front of the gate, so please park along Orcutt if need be. [est 3 hours]

We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.
