Trail Blazing at Westwoods Dunk Rock Road

We’ll be posting the new plastic blazes, completing the Green Rectangle trail from the Dunk Rock Road entrance to where we left off last weekend. You’re welcome to join us for just the walk, but if you’d like to help blaze, a small tool belt with places for nails, a hammer and a stockpile of blazes is recommended. Plan to meet at the Dunk Rock Road entrance, parking in the lot near the Bishop’s raspberry field. [est 1-1/2 – 2 hours]

Heavy rain will usually cancel any of these work parties, so if you have questions about the schedule, please feel free to contact me stewardship@guilfordlandtrust.org or Paul Proulx pauljproulx@comcast.net on the morning of each event. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house. Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events, so if you’re late and want people to wait, give him a call.
