Just off the trail head entrance are eight, 12ft bridge sections that span a large wetland area.  These are disappearing into the mud, which isn’t good for either the bridges or the wetlands.  This work party will dig/pry these bridge sections out and install black locust sleepers underneath them.  Ahead of time, some of us will be meeting at 9 at Spencer’s Creek to load the sleepers into Paul Sander’s truck for transport to the trailhead.  But if you’d like to help with the heavy work, toss a crowbars, pick and shovel into your car and meet us at 10 at the trailhead.  Decent boots and gloves are obviously suggested.  Please meet us at the Laural Hollow cul-de-sac entrance @ 10AM, just off West Lake Avenue.   [est 2  – 2 -1/2 hours]
