Trail Clearing at Dunk Rock Road

For all who are interested in some bracing work before their New Year celebration, we’ve planned this final work party of the year. We’re not exactly sure of where we’ll be heading, but the plan is to meet at the Dunk Rock Road trailhead, and plan from there. Paul will have a chainsaw and other necessary equipment. But you should dress warm and bring equipment you’re comfortable using. If you need safety equipment (chaps, helmet, etc.) let Paul know in advance so he can put them into his car. Plan to meet at the Dunk Rock Road entrance, parking in the lot near the Bishop’s raspberry field. [est 2 to 2-1/2 hours]

Rain or significant snow will usually cancel any of these work parties, so if you have questions about the schedule, please feel free to contact me stewardship@guilfordlandtrust.org or Paul Proulx pauljproulx@comcast.net on the morning of each event. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house. Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events, so if you’re late and want people to wait, give him a call.
