Vote YES for Open Space Funding

GLCT encourages voters to support the replenishment of the town’s open space fund on April 12th. Authorization to bond these funds, up to $10M, when they are needed enables the Town of Guilford to mobilize more quickly in the event that a priority parcel becomes available. The properties may be for municipal, recreational or conservation purposes. Several more steps are required before the money can be accessed and spent, including approval of the specific acquisition by the Board of Selectmen, Board of Finance, and Town Meeting.
