Hoadley Creek Bridge Repair

This past weekend, we received a report that the 18ft bridge that crosses Hoadley Creek has been damaged and needs to be reset on it’s piers … with a center support needing to be reset in the creek bed.  It’s a very heavy bridge, and we’ll need plenty of help in shifting the bridge and restoring the foundations.  We’ll have sledge hammers and prybars, as well as a chainsaw for removal of the offending tree, but ask you to bring along any heavy equipment you may have to supplement our tools.  Join us at the end of Old Road, at the traffic circle before Balaurel Drive.  We’ll plan there our best access to the bridge location.  If you’re late, give Paul a call (203) 687-7756 and he’ll direct you from his mobile. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.
