Dudley-Barrows Woods Trail Maintenance at Reenes Way

We have a number of trail issues to deal with today. The White Trail on the eastern side of Reene’s Way is reported to need blazing (we didn’t get around to this last month), and the Bog bridges on White heading toward Barrows farm need to be reset … and decide if a third bridge is needed. And we need to take a critical look at the pitch of the trail leading up to Reene’s Way and decide if some terracing is needed to improve footing and reduce erosion problems. Paul will bring the blaze materials and nails. But we’ll need to move bridges, so a maddock and pry-bars, and some length of rope are needed. And we’ll likely need to make sleepers for bridge support, so a chainsaw will be useful. You get the picture. If you’d like to help, plan to meet at the Reene’s Way cut-de-sac at 10AM.
