Loop 2 Stone Work – Westwoods Sam Hill Entrance

Our inspection of Trail Loop 2 on the 25th showed just a couple of small water crossing problems that we expect to address today. What we plan is to shift some stepping stones that are a little wobbly, and perhaps move/roll some additional stones from the trail edges to make the crossing easier. If you’d like to help, bring along a pryer or crowbar and perhaps a few wooden blocks that can be used as fulcrums or spacers. That and a pair of heavy gloves and good boots are all you’ll need. After this work is completed, we expect to return on the white circle trail, and discuss plans for improving an important water crossing. Please meet us at the Sam Hill Entrance to Westwoods. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.
