Tree Work – Nut Plains Broad Hill Circle Entrance

Nut Plains property steward Doug Clark has reported five or six trees that need to be removed from the trails in the northeastern corner of the property … so we’re meeting at this lesser used trail entrance for easier access. We’ll have a saw and protective gear, and ask you to bring along a saw if you have one. But even if you don’t consider yourself a sawyer, please come along … there’s always a need for people to help move limbs and assist the sawyers. So bring along a pair of heavy gloves and any hand tools you feel comfortable using. Please meet us at the Broad Hill Circle cul-de-sac, parking anywhere along the circle edge. [est 2 hours]

Rain or significant snow will usually cancel any of these work parties, so if you have questions about the schedule, please feel free to contact me stewardship@guilfordlandtrust.org or Paul Proulx pauljproulx@comcast.net on the morning of each event. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house. Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events, so if you’re late and want people to wait, give him a call.
