Edith Nettleton Bequest

Edith Nettleton was Guilford’s first professional librarian and a consummate historian and archivist. She worked tirelessly to ensure the proper preservation of Guilford’s history. When she died recently, at 105, she left GLCT an unexpected gift of $17,000. GLCT is honored to be the recipient of such generosity from someone who cared so deeply about our town.
