Loop 13 Trail Work – Westwoods: Dunk Rock Road Entrance

We’ll be putting in the re-routing of the Green Rectangle trail that we flagged last weekend. Paul will bring blaze materials, ‘Trails closed’ signs and nails. We’ll need one or two chainsaws, hand tools (loppers, clippers, etc.) and a rake to clear and relocate the trail. We’ll meet at the Upper Moose Hill entrance to Westwoods at 10AM. Parking is limited, so if you can’t find parking at the trailhead, head down on Lower Road and walk up the road or through the connecting trail. [est 2 – 3 hours]

Heavy rain will usually cancel any of these work parties, so if you have questions about the schedule, please feel free to contact me stewardship@guilfordlandtrust.org or Paul Proulx pauljproulx@comcast.net on the morning of each event. We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house. Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events, so if you’re late and want people to wait, give him a call.
