SUMMARY:Graffiti Removal at Westwoods Three Corners Road
DESCRIPTION:Reports of lots of new graffiti on the cliff faces just north of the kiosk inspired this work party.  We plan to use a mix removal technique but expect the artful application of camouflage paint to painted rocks to be how we’ll deal with most of this mess.  But extra help and advice is very welcomed\, so please come with your ideas\, tools\, talent and time\, and we’ll point you towards an area that needs to be ‘returned to nature’.   Please meet us at the Three Corners Road Entrance to Westwoods … when you park be careful not to obstruct any of the driveways.. [est 2 to 3 hours] \nHeavy rain will usually cancel any of these work parties\, so if you have questions about the schedule\, please feel free to contact me stewardship@guilfordlandtrust.org or Paul Proulx pauljproulx@comcast.net on the morning of each event.  We’ll also announce cancellations or schedule changes by email\, so it’s a good idea to check your mail before you leave the house.  Paul also carries his cell phone (203-687-7756) on these events\, so if you’re late and want people to wait\, give him a call.

SUMMARY:Bimbler's Bash 2023
DESCRIPTION:The 17th Bimbler’s Bash will take place at 9:00 am on Sunday April 2nd\, with all proceeds from the event being donated to the Guilford Land Conservation Trust. The Bash is the biggest trail race in Connecticut in terms of the number of participants and based on demand for places in previous years you are advised to register early if you wish to participate.
