DESCRIPTION:John Goldin will be leading this work party installing our new plastic blazes on the Orange Circle trail.  John will have both blazes and nails.  You can bring a good hammer and a set of work gloves.  A small tool belt with places for nails\, a hammer and a stockpile of blazes is also recommended.  Please meet us at the Sam Hill Entrance to Westwoods. SUMMARY:Trail Clearing - Paul Trail
DESCRIPTION:A trail report at the WWTC October meeting reported a large tree down on the southern section of this trail\, just before the island.  Also reported was overgrowth along the road\, making trail access difficult.  So we have both chainsaw and lopper work\, so please come an help with the tools you’re comfortable using.  We’ll have a chainsaw and some hand tools\, but you should bring your own if you can.  And as always\, if you need protective gear\, we have it\, but please notify Paul ahead of time to be sure it is in his car.  Please join us at the Paul Trail entrance just across from the nursery school parking lot at 262 Sachems Head Rd (about 1/2 mile south of the Sam Hill entrance to Westwoods). Please park carefully on the side of the road. DESCRIPTION:This is the first of several work parties we’re having to Build a Better WW Trails.  At this work party\, we’re turning some sections of unauthorized trails which the WWTC feels are good additions to the network into proper trails … re-routed when needed to avoid future erosion or safety problems … and redirecting others to avoid wetland areas.  We will have chainsaw work\, blazing work\, and expect to be moving a few good sized stones.  So many hands will be welcomed\, and bring along the tools you’d like to be using.
