Williams\, Ph.D.\, Chief Scientist\, Environmental Science and Forestry Department\, Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station.  \nAfter a short meeting led by the GLCT Board of Directors\, Dr. Williams will discuss forested residential communities and explain why increased habitat  connectivity is pivotal for the proliferation of a diverse array of native wildlife species and how this diversity ultimately benefits not only ecosystem health but also human health.
