This property is the result of two open space subdivisions. When Taylor Lane was created in 1999, GLCT accepted 21 acres of open space. In 2002, when nearby Indian Meadows Road was built, GLCT accepted a contiguous 11 acres. The combined property includes the headwaters of Munger Brook, which then passes along West Street, through adjacent open space of the Town of Guilford, and then meanders into North Branford, and then enters the Branford River flowing into the Long Island Sound. In addition to stream beds, and fascinating geological features, an old logging road allows for exploration of the top of a steep ridge running north/south on the property. There are currently no formal trails on this property but it is easily accessed from the end of Indian Meadows Road on the north side.
