September 26, 2010 – Sunday @ 2:30 pm

At 2:30 pm sharp, thousands of yellow rubber duckies will be resting in their holding pen on the West River in front of the trust’s Olmsted Outlook on River Street. They’ll be waiting patiently for our Duck Master to lift the starting gate to let them float freely, 400 feet downriver. They will be collected one by one as they pass through a specially designed collection chute. Oh, we forgot to tell you, each duck is numbered, and it has been “adopted” by someone like you. If your duck places in the race, then you could win one of the prizes on offer.
